Throughout the history of custom mechanical keyboards, people have done many different mods to their builds in order to try and achieve a sound that is identical or at least similar to the iconic lego building sound in the Lego video games. Recently, KBDcraft has released their Kit Adam custom mechanical keyboard kit. The kit is in all neutral colors with a light gray and white. When buying, you have 2 options. The first one costs around $50 dollars and comes with the case, the pcb, plate and stabilizers. The second option costs around $100 dollars before tax. This also comes with the case, pcb, stabilizers, but also has the addition of the switches and keycaps. The case is made fully out of white legos and is gasket mounted with no need for screws. The PCB has south facing LED's and the s^2 engine switches are custom made for this build in order to sound exactly like legos with cherry stems. The keycaps are OEM profile and made with PBT. All the parts in this keyboard are also available for purchase on their own so you could even build your own case instead of buying the kit and building everything that comes in the box.
