The keychron V2 is widely regarded as the best budget keyboard. Coming in at just 94 and 84 dollars for their fully assembled model with and without the knob respectively, and 74 and 64 dollars for their barebones models with and without the knob. Fully assembled and barebones both come with the plastic case, the keyboard pcb, screw in stabilizers, and steel plate; the fully assembled version also comes with Doubleshot OSA PBT keycaps, and the keychron K Pro switches. All versions come in 2 colorways: frosted black (translucent) and carbon black (non-transparent). For the Barebones variants, the frosted black version seems to be the one that is sold out the most on Keychron’s website. Overall this keyboard is a great budget and beginner friendly build, and is also VIA compatible. I give it Josh’s thumbs up and would buy it.
